pachuca dolce: April 2010
http://pachucadolce.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 24, 2010. I've given up on writing. I'm changing my direction. I did it, father. i've given you and mom what you've always wanted, for your children to have a formal education. So now, i evolve. i grow into a direction that not only leads myself farther away from that secure life, i do it with the intention and gumption of a race; getting there first. There's no harm in trying to erase past time, just as long as you remember where you came from. And I've got my 4-track recorder on its way.

Your Thoughts Exactly: June 2004. Where we save you the trouble of thinking for yourself. Wednesday, June 30, 2004. Champions as recently as 1917. And "at least the Red Sox have 1918". People put a lot of focus on how long it has been since their teams have won a title, but for the vast majority of teams, they haven't won anything in a long time. The Mariners? Never Most of the NBA? Never Most of the NFL? Nope Anything from Buffalo? What really matters is if you can. Posted by Stuart @ 1:49 AM 1 comments.

Your Thoughts Exactly: May 2004. Where we save you the trouble of thinking for yourself. Sunday, May 30, 2004. I like the general concept, but there are some problems. How does the draft work? Does every team in every level get to be in the draft, with the Major league teams most likely not using any of their picks? Do all amateurs become free agents able to sign with any team, and if so, what keeps the rich teams from getting the top prospects every time? Posted by david @ 10:27 AM 5 comments. I would m...

Your Thoughts Exactly: August 2004. Where we save you the trouble of thinking for yourself. Tuesday, August 31, 2004. Republican Convention Night 1. One thing I noticed, there appears to be a little editing of inflammatory comments on the GOP’s website. In his report from the floor, the Slate’s Chris Sullentrop reports. Ok before I start ranting, time to look at the message of primetime speakers John McCain. According to Giuliani. But as he heroically stood at ground zero three days later (both McCai...

Your Thoughts Exactly: Baseball has been bery bery good to me. Where we save you the trouble of thinking for yourself. Saturday, May 12, 2007. Baseball has been bery bery good to me. And it has. In the last three years I have seen my Red Sox finally break through to win the title and my fantasy baseball team win the inaugural Parade of Horribles championship. Can life be any better? Yes, if I can somehow manage a way to have both happen in one season. 2007 looks like it could be that year. Of course one ...

Your Thoughts Exactly: It's reality, stupid. Where we save you the trouble of thinking for yourself. Wednesday, November 28, 2007. It's reality, stupid. Didn't think this was going to happen again, did you? Well, today's topic of discussion was inspired by a REAL-LIFE conversation between your two favorite former bloggers. The short answer is both, but since that's a cop-out answer, the long answer is: what good is it to blame anybody? I'm sure that's an oversimplification, but I'm painting with a broad ...

Your Thoughts Exactly: Feeding the Monster Bullshit. Where we save you the trouble of thinking for yourself. Tuesday, May 15, 2007. Feeding the Monster Bullshit. I read "Feeding the Monster," by Seth Mnookin, a former New Yorker writer who followed Red Sox management around for a few years (03-05ish) and wrote a tome on them. The Sox have by far the most expensive tickets and fuck their fans over for money in a ton of ways. Don't look to me for pity. Posted by Marmaniac @ 10:16 AM.

If you've been a long-standing reader of Your Thoughts Exactly, you know we differ on the relevance and importance of voting. I do feel its worthwhile to put my vote down, and trudged a whole 100 yards through the slush this morning to show my faith in Democracy and the Greatest Nation of All Time. Friday, January 29, 2010. I can safely say that my views have doubled over the last couple of months. I mean, it's a number and numbers don't lie. But considering that I've only had one follower (love you my brave friend) and I averaged about two new views a month, I didn't see any real incessant need to write. Not to mention that I've been so busy that I'm on this new Redbull diet that consists of, well.Redbull. Oh and espresso. Ok, just for a side note, I'm watching the rest of that Moog documentary.
