Must be able to keep massive amounts of paperwork up to date while making split-second, life or death decisions. Must be immune to verbal abuse and able to neutralize occasional physical assaults. December 17, 2006. I got into Boston at around 9:30pm (the flight only took a little under 5 hours), and after a lengthy car rental process and a stop at McD's I'm finally settled in. October 15, 2006. Ryan was still operating on East Coast time yesterday, so we decided to stop for a snack for him around 3:00. No visit to Sacramento is complete without visiting a fast-food Mexican restaurant, so we took him to Jimboy's Tacos, which has one of the highest quality-to-price ratios around. I think he enjoyed it. He *definitely* enjoyed it. Taco Bell should hang their head shame. The shell on a Jimboy's taco is both crunchy and soft and chewy. It is a thing to behold. January 26, 2007.

December 6, 2006. I'm interrupting our back-posting temporarily to let everyone know about our recent adventure to get a Christmas Tree. I had been considering a drive out to one of the tree farms in the mounts on the way to Lake Tahoe, but due to time constraints we decided to head to the closest farm town with a tree farm (Dixon) and look there. They had a large selection of Cut-your-own trees, spread out over large fields (with a background that could only be California). Just watch out for the babies!

Ideally, you need a projection of the image onto a flat surface at a given orientation in space, which is certainly possible to do exactly if you have all of the data using a little linear algebra (think 3d game engines), but I didn't want to waste *that* much time, so I just approximated it using a little photoshop transformation.
