I'm glad I did, not because it worked - I got my first rejection from that letter today - but because I think it's a better letter. It gets across the humor more and seems more conversational. So I wrote a book. Adventures of a First Time Novelist. Friday, November 14, 2008. My Pockets are Too Deep. So, I've discovered that my body type and new jeans don't mix. The 'sag' style pants, or the 'relaxed fit' jeans with their looseness and comfort have deep pockets. Unfortunetly I have short arms as compared to my torso. An average person who stretches their arms straight out to the sides should measure almost exactly their own height from finger tip to finger tip. And slightly embarrassing to admit.
