If you would have told me three months ago that I would be the future step-mom of two high school boys. If you would have told me . I'd have said you were crazy. But, if you were to ask me now if I'd change anything at all, I'd strongly reply 'no. never.'. I am so excited for you Steph! Cant wait for the wedding day!

Putting the Pieces Together. The job I have now is the first I've had where I'm officially managing people. I was nervous at first (especially about disciplinary issues), but I'm absoluely loving it. It helps that the students I manage are amazing. Lately my current student workers have been helping me interview student workers for next year. It's nice to have their opinion, and it helps them learn more about what goes on in an interview and helps them learn to be more professional (win-win-win!

The Adventures of Seth, Amanda, Kayla and Grant Hutchings. Project Runway Here I Come. With a new box full of dress-ups a new topic has come up in our home: modesty. Kayla now knows the difference between modest dress and immodest clothing. If I happen to turn on an episode of dancing with the stars Kayla will look at me and say, "Mommy she's not modest.". So sewing Barbie a dress from scratch was no small feat. I couldn't get it on her. So I added triangular side panels. Kayla with her first Potty Chart.
