A chronicle of the life of our family from 2007 to the present. Sunday, April 22, 2012. In the tradition of Zion, Zen had his birthday party a month early so we could celebrate outside and with costumes. The birthday boy decided he didn't really want to don his costume for his party after all, but this was ok.over 30 guests arrived, including 7 extra kids from the neighborhood! Fortunately, there were games and prizes and food enough for all. Polar Bear Halloween Party, October 2011. We Love Uncle Brian.

He won an award for the most creative project in 6th grade! Zen was on hand to help at the presentation. Mexico Lindo y Querido. Monday, January 5, 2009. New Year's 2008 (or 9, which is it? Matt and I enjoyed a nice anniversary date/trip to St. Louis while grandma and Grandpa babysat. We will be married for 8 years on tuesday! In an attempt to help Jenna learn how to ice skate, we took her roller skating at the rink that is just down the street from grandma and grandpa's house. It was a lot of fun, and it brought back many memories of when I used to go to Leo's Roller Rink every Friday night, good times. Kaela stuck in the bathroom.

Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Do you think this is bad? Okay, so I mentioned that Kaela is giving us a few full nights of sleep here and there. The thing is, we can only get her to sleep in her car seat. We just drape a blanket over it so the seatbelt doesn't hurt and she lays in it! Yesterday, I started having trouble with internet connection - I suppose it was the fact that everybody was stuck at home and utilizing their bandwith on the internet and with movies. Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Matt actually got a Cobra to stand up and fan out at him! Jenna was enthralled by the tigers and wanted to pet them (all this after being freaked out by a butterfly landing on her! The next day was spent at Silver Dollar City and we had tons of fun there.
