http://myminivanmemoirs.blogspot.com/2010/08/packing-for-space.html
Observations on parenting through the rearview mirror. Sunday, August 15, 2010. Yes, it's been a long time since my last post. It has been a strange year, but I'm going to try to get back to writing again. So we'll start with a funny post. As a pet. We told her that she had to go out into space to get one and Steve told her that she had to pack because it was a long trip. She then ran up to her room. This should have been the first indication that something funny was happening. Kitty, Mario, taggie.

My Minivan Memoirs: November 2008
http://myminivanmemoirs.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Observations on parenting through the rearview mirror. Sunday, November 30, 2008. So the Thanksgiving holiday didn't go exactly as planned. Julia decided to nix any type of sleep. I ate too much. Steve enjoyed many Yuenglings. Good for you if you can think of a place. Just make sure you don't forget it's there and visit it frequently :) Peach (from. Said it best when Darla was banging on the tank:. Find a happy place, find a happy place, find a happy place! Wednesday, November 26, 2008. It's obvious that...

My Minivan Memoirs: January 2010
http://myminivanmemoirs.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Observations on parenting through the rearview mirror. Saturday, January 30, 2010. What A Difference A Year Makes. And so one of the longest journey of my life started. Unbearable heartache, constant questions and rivers of tears caused me to dig deep within myself just to survive. Steve was my rock - an amazing source of strength when he was also grieving. Close friends provided entertainment for Julia, prayers and meals. Did they help? Tremendously. Did they fill the void? Tuesday, January 19, 2010.

The happenings of a straight-haired angel, a curly-headed princess and two parents that absolutely adore them both. Monday, September 29, 2008. Where do you get that curly hair from? It's the million dollar question. My hair is wavy but nothing like AK's. D's is thick and straight. Emily's is thick and straight. My mother's brother had curly hair and my mother-in-law's dad did too.was it like AK's. I don't think so. I think it was God's way of covering up her scar from her surgery. Am I really doing this?

The happenings of a straight-haired angel, a curly-headed princess and two parents that absolutely adore them both. Monday, February 8, 2010. We alternate Thanksgiving between our parents each year. This year we had Thanksgiving with Dan's side. The weather didn't cooperate this year and give us warmth to play outside. The girls (and their cousin) found plenty to do inside. Happy Thanksgiving, Y'all. Gooble Gooble. Happy Fall Yall 2009. We love our little pumpkins! I'm trying to catch up.AGAIN! Emily did...

TheDPGang: Activities
http://thedpgang.blogspot.com/2009/10/activities.html
The happenings of a straight-haired angel, a curly-headed princess and two parents that absolutely adore them both. Thursday, October 29, 2009. The girls started their activities in August. Emily has chosen to take ballet and jazz/hip-hop. She has class every Monday. I worry about her getting home so late and then having to be at dance until 8:00 makes for a long, long day! I don't have any pictures because the studio hasn't had parent night just yet. I will post some when I get them. Daily Dose of Cara.

The happenings of a straight-haired angel, a curly-headed princess and two parents that absolutely adore them both. Monday, August 17, 2009. We had the opportunity to go back to Chicago in July. We spent quality time with the Chicago peeps, Grandmother and Poppa and celebrated my 40th birthday. These two waiting anxiously for my arrival. And these two could have cared less when I arrived - I mean there was something really good on TV.plus making signs and giving out orders are tough jobs. :). I love real...
