Published by Australia's national science agency CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation), issued a special compendium on Conservation Management of Rivers and Wetlands under Climate Change.

Environmental Science and Policy 190 - Water Management and the Tuolumne River. Environmental Science and Policy 190 - Water Management and the Tuolumne River. Class projects consisted of taking a dominant theme of the Tuolumne River watershed and translating it into a virtual field trip via a Google Earth enabled file. The following students completed their projects:. Robert Gonzalez, Dean Mortenson, and Dao Tran. Joseph Cutler, Anna Fryjoff-Hung, and Mathew Berke.

This workshop presents recent climate change research for western Sierra Nevada watersheds with a focus on hydropower generation, ecosystem services, and ecosystem functioning. This workshop will focus on policy and management implications of climate change, including how to address climate change in local and regional resource management plans, the impacts of climate change on hydropower operations, and the role of climate change in the FERC hydropower relicensing process.
