Monday, August 3, 2015. Make a Card Monday - Tennis Anyone? Earlier this summer, Soprano had out-of-the-blue expressed interest in playing tennis. Since she has never really loved TaeKwonDo and would rather be done with that sport, we started looking into tennis lessons. After some quick research, I found a tennis camp that Soprano and Tenor have enjoyed for the past two weeks. They had a great time mostly due to their coaches. Monday, February 23, 2015. Soprano's room re-do is coming along. After painting, we decorated with some loaded up picture gallery shelves. And with embroidery hoops. Our next project was to upcycle an old pallet into more art for this horse-themed room. I liked this version. Via Pinterest and wanted to create my own. Now it's the feature piece that hangs above her bed. (We're looking to get her a different bed this spring which is why it's hanging a little high at the moment.). This blog covers it all!

Then Bass took some little eye hooks and screwed them into the sides so he could attach metal wire to them. Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Soprano's room re-do is now 98% done due to some new furniture! We fixed some issues with the paint and repainted the whole room, made an art gallery. Got new curtains and bed linens. Created embroidery hoop art, and repurposed an old drawer into a photo display. I found the dresser at our local Habitat Re-Store. Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Make a Card - Sparkle. My first card for the MFT Card Design Superstar. Contest was for the Coloring Virtuoso category. This one is for the Clean and Simple category. It still has a lot of color but I wanted to make the color more of a peek-a-boo element with the white over layer. I used a set of French curves to make the rounded shape for the top layer. On the underneath layer, I stamped the sequins from Made to Sparkle. How could you make a sparkle card without Stickles?
