Just Keep Swimming: February 2011
http://lorsland.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 3, 2011. It is February, and it was gorgeous today! I realize that I am a few days late with this statement, but I am excited nonetheless. I find that January often goes by so slowly. I am usually quite happy when January is over. Maybe it's because February often feels short, and then comes March, and that means spring! Winter is my least favourite season, so when spring is on the way, I get excited :). In 15 days, I get to start Reading Week. Yay! Back to the books I go!

Long story short, all worked out and I still will graduate on time this year. Yay! Brother in law, and niece left today after being here for 15 days. It was an absolutely wonderful 2 weeks, and I had so much fun with my niece :). I hope that you had a very Merry Christmas, and I wish you all a Happy New Year!

Monday, September 12, 2011. Back into the Swing of Things. It has been a long time since I have posted. I know that. I have had no motivation to write a blog post for a long time. I still have not motivation to write this. However, I am anyways, hoping that someone out there will enjoy reading this :). I had a lovely summer. Close-up and still-life photography]. Tuesday, March 1, 2011. And brother-in-law had a baby 2 months ago. I was privileged to be able to take lots and lots of pictures of her during her first visit to Manitoba this past week. Here's a few favourites. And her eyelashes - so long! My cousin made the Welcome to Manitoba cake in the background. If you need delicious baked goodness that looks amazing, you should contact me so I can connect you with her. Just Keep Swimming: January 2012
http://lorsland.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 18, 2012. I know that it's hard to believe I'm posting again. I just thought I'd share a little update. I am doing my practicum at Boundary Trails Health Centre. I have been there a week, and so far I love it! I am getting used to being back up on the ward, and it feels really good. The nervousness has left for the most part, and now I'm just excited for these next few months. Tonight is my first night shift, so there is still a little nervous energy left ;).
