But on this- the eve of my "first day" of school, there's a few things I wish I could have told myself 11 years ago as a brand new teacher. 1 The first day of school will always have that excitement. I amazingly ranked up to Distributor 4 Star this week and I know I didn't do it on my own- there were so many people helping me get there- from an amazing up-line guiding me and to some pretty amazing customers who have continued to buy product and developed a love for it too! Let's look at that girl for just a minute. Am I done growing? It is on...

Amy's Unexpected Undertakings: October 2014
http://jeantana.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 27, 2014. October 27, 2014. I know- another post in a matter of days. Can that really be? And it isn't even on anything that is unexpectedly undertaking. And why do we make these decisions? They are based on our priorities in life. A lot of times, I find we are willing to sacrifice big things that are important to taking care of ourselves to fulfill a moment of something we think we need right now. Friday, October 24, 2014. Amy's Unexpected Undertakings: September 2013
http://jeantana.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Another Once In A Life Time (or so they say.). Okso when I was a little girl- I had this ridiculous idea that it would be so much fun to sing in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir- or even play the organ for it. Well.I didn't ever develop my talent out enough to do this.but last Sunday, I had the opportunity to sing for regional conference for my area and we had the chance to sit in the choir seats at the Conference Center. It was though a great opportunity to sit in those chairs an...

http://jeantana.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 5, 2013. The Spirit of the Season. December 4, 2013. Someday, I hope to understand that love that we have from the Savior even more. I know that we are here to learn it- it is the first and greatest commandment: To love God and then others. As this holiday season continues- I hope we can keep that love in our hearts and reach out to those in need. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Amy's Unexpected Undertakings: April 2015
http://jeantana.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 15, 2015. This is Why I Teach. April 15, 2015. I just have a thought going through my head tonight that I have to get out of me. I have had a few young new teachers ask me how I got to where I am because they don't want to "teach" forever and want to go places. I'm realizing I look younger to them than I really am. By learning and doing. I studied what I taught and worked on understanding it as much as I could so my students could reach their full potential. My passion for educat...Own o...

Amy's Unexpected Undertakings: January 2015
http://jeantana.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 26, 2015. January 26, 2015. Here's the honest truth. I am a terrible listener. Reason number one- I have the teacher listen down. I can have someone ramble on and on about things and nod along and hear key words and pretend that I know what they are talking about. Reason number two- often times when I am listening- I cut people off and interrupt them because I thought of something important to say. And I am more important, right (just kidding- that's a terrible attitude! I was coaching a ...

Friday, November 1, 2013. I need to start looking at blessings, so I'm going to try the thankful challenge on my blog/journal area. So- here goes:. Day 1: I am grateful for life. Life is so full of opportunities to learn and grow- and I think I'm doing my best to embrace opportunities that come my way. Granted, life has many trials and problems, but those things have only proved to make me stronger and better. So- day 1. Thankful for life and lessons. (Does that count as 2?
