Friday, November 24, 2006. Hmmmm38 socks out of 108 knitters. That's 35%. Not so hot, but more than a third of us finished, so I'm happy about that! I removed myself and Katrina from the drawing and wound up with 36 knitters. Random.org chose # 30 and #2 (yes, in that order- it's random, ya know). Those numbers matched with Sara. Also, I wanted to thank everyone for stretching your boundaries a little, pushing the comfort zone, and knitting something without a pattern! Posted by msubulldog at 10:08 AM.

Mystery Sock KAL: July 2006
http://mysterysock.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 20, 2006. Welcome to the Mystery Sock KAL! Don't we all love to find free patterns on the Internet? How many of those do you pass over because they don't have a picture of the finished product? I skip them all. Yup, I won't even give a second glance to something without a photo. Call it snobbery. Call it indecisiveness. Heck, it's downright fear of the unknown. BUT while on said topic tonight at knitting guild, I remembered stumbling across the Magical Mystery Sock Tour on the Socknitters.

Thursday, November 23, 2006. I also used the Shell Socks pattern. I thought it was a really easy pattern and turned out nicely in the self striping yarn I used (Vesper in Strange Little Mama). I changed the heel a little and made the cuff a little shorter, but overall it was a good pattern. Sorry the picture isn't better. I just realized I never took a picture yesterday, and everyone is asleep here, so I had to sneak around looking for a spot with decent enough lighting. Posted by Nicole at 7:55 PM.

Saturday, September 30, 2006. My Aran Braid Socks Are Done! I finished the other day and am just now getting around to posting pics on my blog. I really liked this pattern, but I didn't think the transition from the braid on the leg to the small cable on the foot was as smooth as it could be. I'm not experienced enough to know how to fix it either, but it still looks okay. These are a gift for my mother for Christmas! Posted by Beverly at 8:00 PM. Here are my mystery socks- I used.
