Friday, January 24, 2014. I hardly ever sync my phone and so this is my semi-annual cell phone pics recap post. Probably I should break it up into more than one post but. The Frog wanted to be Ironman for Halloween and wore that costume day and night until Halloween, and by then he had actually outgrown it. he was given Iron Patriot (aka War Machine) from his cousin for Christmas and now he wears that one and Peach will wear this one. The Frog has me take pictures of works he is especially proud of.

Monday, May 4, 2015. After playing sardines during Family Home Evening. Tonight, Peach says after our treat, "I want to play tuna again.". Wednesday, December 24, 2014. I can't believe how busy life is with homeschooling! I am so behind on updating the blog. I suppose I should have known. but really! The Frog has joined the Tiger Cub Scouts, which he loves. He just earned his Bobcat badge and really liked touring the local firehouse. He loves to read picture books out loud to himself every night. Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Christmas Eve. The Frog and Peach are having a sleep-over. Me: So, kids. Tomorrow is Christmas, which means I want to make sure you know what is going to happen. Friday, August 22, 2014. It has been SOOO long since I've logged anything here, but I swear I have a good excuse. 2) moving to a remote place in MA that has no internet reception or cell service. 3) moving again, finally to our new home in NY. I've learned a lot these last few weeks. A Lot. We got a minivan) using their wireless. Friday, June 6, 2014. So, why are we moving again? The short version is Jay didn't get approved for "continuing faculty status" (their version of "tenure") at BYU. We were really surprised. He far surpassed all their outlined requirements but those pesky politics. I think Jay was advocating for too much change too soon, and it didn't sit will with those folks. Anyway, we lucked out because when Jay started the application process last fall, Vassar was one of his top 2 choices, so we feel extremely blessed.
