Friday, April 24, 2009. Family Vacation for Two. Right after leaving the airport, I went to the Centerville D.I. That was the jumping off point of my vacation. But I did get a wee bit of a cold before the day was over, so Sunday I stayed in bed with a red nose and a sore throat. By Monday I was improving. Who wants to be sick on their vacation? Sunday, April 26, 2009. Carrot Cake - Birthday Cake for Jim. Oven 350. Prepare two 9 inch round pans or one 9x13. 2 1/4 c cake flour. 1 1/2 c sugar. 2 tsp baking soda. 2 tsp ground cinnamon. 1/2 tsp ground ginger. In a medium bowl. In a large bowl combine . One (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple in juice, undrained. Add flour mixture, small amounts at a time, beating with hand whip or electric mixer. 2 c finely shredded carrots (4 medium). 3/4 c chopped pecans. . Cool Completely before frosting.

I think I felt worse, though, when he was sick (I hate to see animals suffer) than I do about him being gone (he's not sick now, thank goodness). And I feel bad for Fink now who has to be all alone without a buddy. Awww, poor taco! We loved that little guy! Is it bad that I had to put the "rubberband trick" on my pants today (as suggested by our pregnant receptionist)? They were Just. Too. Tight. I've GOT to stop eating out so much. Wednesday, October 1, 2008. Who Had the Best Time, Wellington or Grammy? 160;Yes, we did! We took different routes, three in all, each one was so awesome. When the bus goes ding, the light goes on that says STOP REQUESTED. There are babies on the bus. We saw two boys that actually put their bikes on the front of the bus, and then later on Cliffside, took them off and they road away as we pulled away. Amazing! We took a snack break at Smith's F.K. and bought anything we wanted! What do you think?

Well, it's a go! Everything's set. By 5 pm on Monday, I'll be a homeowner. Exciting! E, there will be room for you anytime starting next September. (If you don't mind sharing with wacky G-parents or a wierd Auntie). I hope to get the attic finished by then so that that can be an extra room for you to hide out in.
