Four of Five Album of the Year '09. Last week I worked with the very talented Adam Ellison. On a promotional flyer for the Four oh Five Album of the Year '09. We were given complete creative control which is always a joy, I think it's turned out really well! Bollocks to Poverty and Bad Idea. I've had a super productive week. The very lovely people at Nylon Magazine commissioned me to illustrate their article on documentary film making. It was a great project as I pretty much had free reign. Strongrooms, based in Old Street have just opened up a new post production suite called Picture House. They very kindly asked me decorate their newly purchased foyer. They gave me almost complete free reign which was amazing but I only had a budget of £50. Here's the result.its a mixture of collaged prints and acrylic paints. If you're ever in the area, pop and see it on Singer St. Bollocks to Poverty Banner. The idea behind my illustration is quite simply "what environment would you rather live in?

Justin Vernon covers a Tom Petty song. At the 2010 MusicNOW. Festival in Cincinnati, Justin Vernon performed a cover of Tom Petty’s “Crawling Back to You”. Tom Petty’s is a classic, but I think I like this version better than the original. Then again, I don’t think anything that comes out of Justin Vernon’s mouth could sound even remotely bad. This is why I need to move out. I’m back at work. Guess what? My dentist appointment wasn’t actually today after all. I made the appointment myself so I should have remembered, I even made a reminder in my phone for the actual appointment on Monday. The only reason why I went today was because last night my parents listened to the message the dentist office left me and they must have misunderstood it. My dad was all, “Anna, remember you have a dentist appointment tomorrow! Again, have a great weekend!

The four of us were planning to move out somewhere near the end of the summer; however, the move-in date for most apartments right now is May 1st.
