Tuesday, October 27, 2009. I always have the best of intentions to blog. I really do. However, I somehow seem to find other things to do. Fall is finally here! I know it has been here for awhile now, but the weather has been anything but fall-like so I was not acknowledging the change of season. I can now say that it feels AMAZING outside. Thursday, July 9, 2015. 4th of July with Friends. We usually go to Paris for the 4th of July. But this year we stayed home because my parents weren't going to be in Paris. Our neighbors grilled out and invited us over for dinner. The kids enjoyed playing outside while Mr. Jim cooked and Jeff supervised. Kids loved the chicken drumsticks that he grilled. We watched the Washington DC Fireworks show on TV. Then we packed up and headed out to watch the Flower Mound fireworks show. Posted by Sarah Sherman.

Friday, March 20, 2009. Cake balls and higher education. Today I borrowed a car and drove about 13 miles and entered an alternative universe. Some friends and I went to Eastern University to talk to the School of Leadership and Development about further education. It was really weird being on a college campus, especially one full of trendy Christians. Other than that I just wanted to post some pictures of March, which has by far been the busiest month of my life. It has flown. Of Partridge Family fame.

I went to Philly last week for ten days for my Urban Studies Graduate Program Residency (it looks more important capitalized). I spent my days in a class room for the entire day. It was good. I met lots of awesome people. Hung out with old awesome friends. I decided that I really love this program. What don't I love do you ask? But really Dr. Corbitt. Do I have to have this many sources? Thankfully even though I have kind of been in this denial state for several months now – God is amazing and my living situation worked out. A wonderful Watermark family is allowing me to live in their garage apartment for 3-4months until I get things figured out more permanently. So I will be living in the M Streets for a few months!
