Classroom Arrangement Matters | Techno-Geeked

Using Technology in my Chemistry Classroom. February 14, 2012. Kids will come to me if I am not hidden behind my giant desk. My students usually figure out what they were doing wrong (or whatever they were struggling with) through the process of trying to word their questions. Even when they don’t figure it out while forming their own questions, it usually only takes 1-2 questions from me to scaffold them to the “Ohhhhh, I get it” phrase🙂. From → Flipped Classroom. https://iatechgeek.wordpress.com/2012/02/07/flipping-parent-letter-and-day-3
Using Technology in my Chemistry Classroom. Flipping: Parent Letter and Day 3. February 7, 2012. Starting tomorrow, I will have 2 of the 3 levels of Chemistry flipped. I could not have been more excited! To do the recording I am using my iPad and the ShowMe App. It records the screen, which looks like a whiteboard that I can pull pictures into AND hosts the videos for me, which I can embed into my wiki. Here is a screenshot of what my kids see:. From → Flipped Classroom. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Using Technology in my Chemistry Classroom. February 2, 2012. I know it has been awhile since I have blogged. I have still been busy implementing new technologies – which you probably know takes a lot of time! So I have not had the time to blog about what I have tried. I am going through year two of the diigo and twitter assignments that I shared previously, though, which inspired me to look back at my blog. Is a good graphic of the classroom model. 1 Will they watch the videos? 3 Will I ever catch up?

So BUSY! | Techno-Geeked
https://iatechgeek.wordpress.com/2012/04/15/so-busy-3
Using Technology in my Chemistry Classroom. April 15, 2012. I just wanted to post a quick update to the flipped classroom posts. I have two of my three levels of chemistry flipped. I think that it is working really well to bring the lower kids up, and the high kids are doing as well as they would have in a traditional classroom. I know better what my kids need help with and I will continue to flip for the rest of this year. From → Flipped Classroom. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.
