I've been in LA for a month and a half and so far i've got no complaints. here's my to-do list for the next month and a half or so:. Try the oxtail poutine at animal. Go see concerts at good venues with knowledgeable friends. In accordance with the above goal, try to go see dubstep shows. Update this blog more frequently.

I was trying to find element hollywood, but as per usual managed to get completely lost. so i was walking around hollywood blvd, trying to find this place. i called my sister for directions. As i'm talking to her, i notice a cab pull up on my side of the street, and the cab driver is trying to punch his passenger, and the passenger is reciprocating in kind. I am in denmark.

The av club owns, of course, as does oliver stone. his "forgotten history of the US" tv mini-series sounds fucking awesome. especially since it starts in 1945 with the US nuking japan. which means 99% of the series will be about the cold war. which is my favorite time period! Two reasons why muhammed ali doesn't walk much (both related to the parkinson's syndrome). 1 he knows that if he starts strutting around, it'll just look hilarious because his arms and legs would be bouncing around. since he wants to maintain the mantle of civil rights leader, ali knows that decorum must be preserved. thus he chooses to remain aloof, only barely moving when in public.
