My Project 365 - Cycle Two. Life one picture at a time. One of the plants in our garden started blooming, so I went over to take a picture. However, I took the picture quite late in the afternoon (at dusk), and the flower seemed to be already sleeping. During daytime, this flower looks really great with all the petals open. My Project 365 - Cycle Two. Life one picture at a time. 225/365 - Red Orange. Well, I didn't want us to go that far, and I was thankful that one of the houses' front yard had this flower. I don't know what it's called, certainly looked like an orchid, but it was planted in a pot of soil, so I guess it's not. I took this from the top, just so everything could be seen. :). I don't travel that much (due to financial constraints), but whenever I do, I make sure I not only savor the moment, I also take the time to taste their food, discover their culture, and interact with the locals. Last year (April 2012), I was able to travel north and here are just a few of the many pictures I took during the three-day adventure. It really makes me happy to photograph different flowers. and if there's a critter next to it, all the better.
