Wednesday, November 24, 2010. This has been a long month! We have been all over Brazil! We've flown to Sao. Paulo, Brasilia, and Belem. On the 14 th. We drove to Ribeirao. Airport. We were going to a mission training for my parents. They had sessions on learning how to do storying. We flew out of Ribeirao. Paulo airport. We got to Sao. I had to put on bug repellent every day! Monday, July 05, 2010. Hanging out with Center Point. Last week my church family (Center Point Church) came down on a mission trip! We had an awesome time with them! It was great to have a little break. I was able to help them work on some repairing on a roof at Haven of Hope Children's Home as well! Before we started working on the roof I decided to have a snack! Yes, it's real and alive! I also got a chance to be a translator while I was there and I was amazed how much I actually knew!

Monday, August 23, 2010. This week is our test week! I hate tests especially when they are in Portuguese! Some of them I don't take because its so hard to translate them and others I just try my best on. I love math tests and English tests but all the other ones are hard to do because you can't understand the classes. I wish I could learn Portuguese faster and get to Sao Luis. My friend Arilton has started a Brazilian NGO called Missão Água Viva. The Quilombola people of Maranhão need clean drinking water. His mission works to provide clean water to communities by giving a ceramic water filter to each family. This act of love is bridging relationships to share Jesus through Bible stories. The mission is going strong and we are amazed at all God is doing amongst these peoples. Opportunities have opened for sharing Bible stories to the villages through showing the love of Jesus.
