Once Upon a Boob…. Archive September, 2012. 8220;You just fought for your life. Now live it.”. My fellow breast cancer warrior, Kimberly Williams, said to me last weekend, “You just fought for your life. Now go live it.” Those words almost brought me to tears. I did fight for my life, didn’t I? There’s no reason to be scared of anything anymore. There’s no reason to hesitate to love to the fullest and live like everyday is my last. Big smiles for my last treatment! Goodbye UCLA Oncology Department! Thank...

Once Upon a Boob…. Archive July, 2012. A Blessing in Disguise. This is the view from my infusion chair today. I’m almost done with Herceptin treatments. Should be done in September! Moving to Burbank after a Blonde Birthday with a Burnt Boob. In addition, I’m 3 treatments away from being done with radiation! If you’re brave enough to see it up close. * *WARNING! FOR MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY! The splotchy spots are where the skin has begun to peel. When it all peels off, I’ll have nice new skin! I am a liver.

Once Upon a Boob…. Archive October, 2012. I got my port removed yesterday! I have no need for it anymore and so I underwent surgery to remove it from my chest wall. The process was pretty quick, but I have to say it was also pretty painful. I felt quite a bit of pain when they were yanking it out of my body. Blegh. They only gave me local anesthesia and a bit of other meds in my IV. Here’s a video of me all prepped to go in:. Donating Towards the Fight Against Breast Cancer. Fearless flight in thought.
