Ma's Musings: heart’s a flutter
http://maspeaks.blogspot.com/2007/11/hearts-flutter.html
Friday, November 30, 2007. Heart’s a flutter. We only get this chance once a lifetime. This chance to live our dreams out. To follow our heart's desire. The chance lasts a lifetime. No more - no less. But deep within and all wrapped up in your single chance. You have hundreds of months. In which you can make a difference. Each and every second - you have a choice. To choose your fate. Is determined by you. And what will you do? Where will you go? Will you let anyone stand in your path? Only time will tell.

Ma's Musings: September 2007
http://maspeaks.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 12, 2007. I think a lot about how separate I am. I seem to forget about the connections. It's like the 6 degrees. Here I am on my stranded little island. Thinking I'm oh so alone. And yet the water splashes. And rinses me free. Water is my friend. And I can hear the wave. The whisper of the sea-foam. The tragic clash of tide. Sweeping away my sandy shore. Where I once stood tall. Where I once stood with someone. The waves have washed away. More than my sadness. More than my link.

Thank you for your patience, thoughts and prayers! Sunday, February 2, 2014. I can’t believe that it’s February already! It’s a habit that definitely needs breaking. I just ha...

The Site That Breathes: November 2013
http://thesitethatbreathes.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 18, 2013. The past few months have been kind of hard with figuring out how I want to spend my time. I graduated high school spring of 2005. After that, every semester from fall of 2006 to spring of 2013 I attended college (including some summers). However, this fall semester I chose not to go back and to take a break. I have my associates in communications from Normandale Community College and attended one semester at St. Thomas University to get my bachelors in communications. Aside fro...

http://thesitethatbreathes.blogspot.com/2015/05/it-is-common-for-many-individuals-with.html
Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Surgery on my Neck. It is common for many individuals with SCI to experience chronic or acute pain. Given our situations, we usually require the use of a wheelchair. This means lack of movement, possible curvature of the spine, along with pain resulting in posture and positioning. I’ll keep you updated as things move on afterword and how I’m feeling. Hope everything goes smoothly! May 23, 2015 at 6:27 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). There was an error in this gadget. Unite 2...

http://thesitethatbreathes.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Every year since my accident we started hosting all of the holidays at our house. It’s just easier because of accessibility; I can’t get into any family members houses. We have some family coming tonight for Christmas Eve and some tomorrow evening for Christmas day in which we will celebrate and open gifts. My mom, sister and I will exchange gifts Christmas morning. I didn’t ask for much this year, I usually don’t. I enjoy buying things and giving gifts instead. It’s cur...
