Restaurants and bars are now offering christmas packages. Articles about christmas finances and christmas food have sprung up. It can’t be long now before the first ‘christmas has been cancelled in case it offends a few people on twitter’ stories appear. And we are only just in october. My name is pat and i am a grinch.

Aside from some spectacular and interesting dreams (but as it is a truism that other people's dreams are dull, i shan't bore you with them) the most interesting thought i have had recently has been the billy bragg movie. There i was listening to billy singing some political songs. telling us there is power in a union, asking who is going to save the youth of america while keeping the red flag flying. Civil rights action movies. billy takes down corrupt capitalists. Then like a bolt.

The bland taste, the almost freezing temperature and the standard quality are tempting; complex tastes, room temperature and variable quality are avoided by the majority. In the past, only ales would have been available, and mild was drunk since it was low in alcohol. Has to fit. And if doesn't, then you are in trouble. A Circle of Fire.

Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Road Trip 2013, Day One - Glastonbury. The journey was uneventful apart from Helen stopping at some Travelodge that did breakfasts for a break. Service took ages, she complained (and rightly so) and voila, a free breakfast! Heading back to the Covenstead after a marathon of gift shops we showered, rested and then prepared to ascend Glastonbury Tor. Road Trip 2013 will be continued soon! Another in the town centre, today in the news its dogs killing a teenage girl. Last year of a dog attacking and seriously injuring police officers, it turned my stomach to watch.
