The Loopzilla: June 2009
http://theloopzilla.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Friday, 19 June 2009. Lager as a metaphor. Lager .is one of two main types of beer; the other being ale.". Real Ale in the UK is still a minority drink, compared to lager. The bland taste, the almost freezing temperature and the standard quality are tempting; complex tastes, room temperature and variable quality are avoided by the majority. In the past, only ales would have been available, and mild was drunk since it was low in alcohol. Has to fit. And if doesn't, then you are in trouble. A Circle of Fire.

A Hobbit's Journal: Road Trip 2013, Day One - Glastonbury.
http://hobbits-journal.blogspot.com/2013/07/road-trip-2013-day-one-glastonbury.html
Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Road Trip 2013, Day One - Glastonbury. The journey was uneventful apart from Helen stopping at some Travelodge that did breakfasts for a break. Service took ages, she complained (and rightly so) and voila, a free breakfast! Heading back to the Covenstead after a marathon of gift shops we showered, rested and then prepared to ascend Glastonbury Tor. Road Trip 2013 will be continued soon! Location: Glastonbury, Somerset, UK. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

A Hobbit's Journal: Dog Ignorance
http://hobbits-journal.blogspot.com/2013/03/dog-ignorance.html
Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Dogs seem to be in the news again, and its not good news either. there was an incident last week in the town where I live in which one dog killed. Another in the town centre, today in the news its dogs killing a teenage girl. Last year of a dog attacking and seriously injuring police officers, it turned my stomach to watch. In the same sense as if people genuinely want a type of car or expensive piece of jewellery they'll pay for it. The problem these days is that dogs are ...

A Hobbit's Journal: September 2013
http://hobbits-journal.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 30, 2013. So, here we have the fifth game (on main console format, not hand held) in the classic console series released last week and called Disgaea Dimension 2. I'm not sure where all this is going to end up but it's not going to be good, a Neo-Victorian era awaits as the middle class seems to be collapsing and the gap between rich and poor widens. A Hobbit's Journal: August 2013
http://hobbits-journal.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 18, 2013. Everything has a beginning and in the story I am about to tell I know about the beginning because I was there, at the start of an unforgettable era. A strange guttural noise punctuated the noise of chatter and glasses clanking, I didn't realise it was aimed in my direction. I heard it again and a huge mountain of a man asked me if I 'was on of the 'black widows? Mansfield may not be my home anymore, The Ravensdale is no longer my local pub but the friends and fellowships I made f...

Beat It, Nerd: 11/01/2006 - 12/01/2006
http://beatitnerd.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Beat It, Nerd. Monday, November 13, 2006. Well, I'm Back. Sweet Jesus, has it really been like 2 weeks since my last post? Good golly Miss Molly! I didn't intend to be away that long, but, you know, things get in the way. Like, ridiculous levels of attention paid to the mid-term elections. Oh, and a lot of time spent reconfiguring my computer so it can use many of the visual bells and whistles of Windows Vista without actually having to buy Windows Vista. Dem liberals, huh?
