Welcome to my journey. Oct 5, 2010. Funny how you really understand how much you rely on the net when you don't have access to it for a while as has been the case for me. Especially when I couldn't access this blog either. Don't know what the story was there. Anyway as you can see normal service has been resumed. Quite looking forward to getting home now which is always the sign of a good holiday I think, and it has been great, everything I hoped for, and some things I hadn't expected.

Welcome to my journey. Apr 9, 2011. Mmm remember me, it's been so long I can't imagine anyone will read this. However I went over to Devonport today and this wee poem occurred to me so I thought I'd share it if anyone's listening. It's crisper this morning. Air laced with autumn. Still, the harbour gleams. Sharp as polished steel. A ship glides in. Unwelcome on the eye. This ocean weary, rusting brute. A liquorice allsorts cargo. No doubt from China. Stuff to consume we don't need. Auckland, New Zealand.

Welcome to my journey. Dec 9, 2010. Often I find myself staring out the window at my new world. It's fascinating and ever changing being down here at the Viaduct, my new home. Welcome to my journey. Oct 20, 2010. Didn't help though I was still becoming increasingly despondent about my rental prospects. That is until I viewed this apartment yesterday at the Viaduct that certainly ticks all the boxes. To cut a long story short I've agreed to rent it for a year maybe longer, so looks like that box is ticked and I can now get on with my new Auckland life.
