Length: 3.1 miles. Weather: Brisk, but warmed up a bit as the day went on. The walk is separated into three parts: (1) Cypress Hills, (2) Highland Park and (3) Cypress Hills revisited. You may remember from my first walk ( on the Brooklyn Bridge and the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. A synagogue that has become a church.

Today my wife (who today will be called “Mable”) and I did the first walk prescribed by the book. It consisted of walking across the Brooklyn Bridge from the Manhattan side, crossing through the Cadman Plaza and walking the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Length: 3.22 miles.
