The Verdant Dude: April 2015
http://beearl.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
More whiskey and cured meats. Apr 29, 2015. How could you not? Thought about dusting off the old Verdant Dude (the site, not the actually dude behind the Dude) for a while now. But I haven't really had anything to ramble about. Still don't, but that's not gonna stop me. We received a promo copy of some celeb magazine in the mail yesterday that featured a cover photo of Tom Hardy in the re-boot of the Mad Max. Why is he on the cover of this magazine? Why do we have it? I explain why he's on the cover.

The Verdant Dude: 24 of 31: The Sacrament (2013)
http://beearl.blogspot.com/2014/10/24-of-31-sacrament-2013.html
More whiskey and cured meats. Oct 24, 2014. 24 of 31: The Sacrament (2013). A vain attempt by a formerly prolific blogger to review 31 new (to me) horror films in the 31 days of October. We did it last year and it was a gas. Can we do it once more? AJ Bowen, Joe Swanberg, directed by Ti West. Earlier this month. That was a movie I really wanted to see because of the director involved. Same this with this film. My interest is directly tied to the filmmaker. His segment in V/H/S. Yeahthat's the guy who run...

More whiskey and cured meats. Oct 29, 2014. 29 of 31: Grabbers (2012). A vain attempt by a formerly prolific blogger to review 31 new (to me) horror films in the 31 days of October. We did it last year and it was a gas. Can we do it once more? A bunch of Irish folk. The villagers decide to get their drink on. Makes sense to me. The only defense against these creatures is a solid bender. 35 out of 5 pumpkin ales. Pissed in the corner by. Labels: 31 in 31. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What Have You ...

Buddha Was A Pretty Popular Guy: I am Back!
http://pocketbuddha.blogspot.com/2010/06/i-am-back.html
It’s been a few weeks I know. . . I had every intention of posting pretty much the moment I got home from our vacation at the lake but then life happened. We didn’t end up getting home until very late at night, Oliver got sick, the internet was broken, and I was just too dang lazy. Aside from being eaten alive by bugs, we had a great time. Not only did it go well enough for me to consider tenting next time, I would love to do the cabin thing again. It was so cozy and relaxing! June 28, 2010 at 7:55 PM.

Buddha Was A Pretty Popular Guy: October 2009
http://pocketbuddha.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
An Aspect of Motherhood I Never Took Into Consideration. It’s been 5 weeks now since Oliver made his entrance into the world, and those 5 weeks have mostly been spent at my breast in front of the television, or at my breast in the bedroom under a book, or at my breast while I try to fold laundry with one hand, the monotony of which is occasionally. Interrupted by a car ride to Tim Horton’s, and our weekly mommy meeting. Our mommy meetings ( The YMCA’s ‘Y’s Moms program that I’ ve. My usual blunt self wou...

Relationship is something I have talked about on a few. Taking on a task that should come naturally when your anatomy has been augmented takes a lot of research, determination, and a lot of faith. Pen, Ink. Life's little vicissitudes . . . 8220;Nothing contributes to the entertainment of the reader more, than the change of times and the vicissitudes of fortune.” - Cicero. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. May every change it brings your way be for the better. Posted by Devon Coles. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. How I became an axe murderess . . . Now, things have changed over five years I must say. For one thing, newer, better technology means a longer period of happy anticipation awaiting the arriv...
