Our life raising three sweet and silly boys! This Thanksgiving my family came from Denver and Tucson to be with us, it was so great having everyone together! I had fun doing the table with some help from my friend Sabina. Loved seeing my sis and her family. Notice my Dad's 'mini-me' Luke. Dad always carves the turkey. My mom wanted a pic with her grandkids.nice. Statue show at Forum shops in Caesars. Blake and Brady had fun looking at the fish. Love how Emme is looking at Luke, too cute! Engagement photo...

Our life raising three sweet and silly boys! This year for Christmas we headed south to Tucson, Arizona! Jackie's husband Brian just joined a practice there in July and they had a new baby, Brady, in September. It was so nice see where they have been living and get to meet the newest member of the family. Jackie's decorations were very cute. Complete with her collection of Santa doctors! I was so happy to get out of rainy Henderson and to 70 degree temperatures in Tucson! Let the free-for-all begin!

Our life raising three sweet and silly boys! Back to school.back to school. Drew begins 1st grade. Drew was BEYOND ready for school to start this year. Our summer was jam packed of fun activities, yet he was still bored. I think he really loves the structure of school. The whole family was there to see Drew off. Drew and some buddies, they were excited! He was so ready to be a big boy and absolutely loved everything about school. I feel silly for being nervous. I am so proud of my Luke E! After dinner we...

Our life raising three sweet and silly boys! This year the boys wanted to be Super Mario Brothers for Halloween. We decided to all be characters from the game. Drew is Luigi, Luke is Mario, Blake is Toad, Mikel is Yoshi and I am Princess Peach. The kids had quite a few parties to go to. Luke and Sofia cracking up at each other. Blake wants attend school so badly, so any chance he gets he walks right in and acts as if he's a student there. Trick-or-treating at The Cottages:. The girls looked beautiful!

Our life raising three sweet and silly boys! On August 31st, Drew had his first day of Kindergarten! We have been anticipating this day since he was born and now that it is here, it's really hard to let go! My mom flew out from Denver to see her first grandchild attend his first day of school. My sweet little boy is growing up! I know that Drew will do great. He is a really good boy and loves to learn, so I hope he gets the most out of his school experience. 1st day done. Many more to follow! We couldn't...

The week of St. Patrick's day Grandma Dottie came to visit and watch the kids, while Mikel and I had a nice staycation here is Vegas. She took these pics of the boys. Blake loves being read to and Drew loves reading.it's perfect! When Dottie picked Drew up at school he was wearing this hat. Our life raising three sweet and silly boys! I have had a sewing machine for a long time but never really knew how to use it. Mikel refers to it as one of "Jen's crazy purchases" since it was in the closet gathering dust with my guitar! Recently some of my girlfriends and I have been getting together to have some wine, look at old pictures and (when we get to it) learning to sew! My friend Sabina made these adorable tie shirts for Luke and Blake for their birthdays and taught me how to make one for Drew.

Our life raising three sweet and silly boys! Even though Drew has already lost his two bottom teeth, there is something upsetting about your child loosing their top teeth. I feel like he is officially a big kid now.*sniff*. Drew's top tooth had been slightly loose for days and I was dying to wiggle it and pull it for him (I inherited this impulse from my Grandma Margie.) I reminded him that if he pulls it, the tooth-fairy would bring him MONEY! Luke looks just like my dad with his bigote! I bought some c...

Our life raising three sweet and silly boys! Drew's kindergarten class did a little play that described the 'First Thanksgiving.' The parents of the students were invited to watch and bring in traditional thanksgiving foods for all the children to try. We were so lucky that Grandad and Jennifer had just drove into Henderson from San Diego and went with us to see Drew. I am mosoique and I am Chief of my tribe," was Drew's line. Note: there are nearly NO candies left on it.where did they go? Drew is Luke's...

Adventures of Ian and CoyLou in Japan. Thursday, May 3, 2012. 4 months in 4 minutes. I'm sorry for the long time between posts. Blogging takes some effort and it's hard to feel like writing something regularly because every day is not exciting, but then, when enough exciting things happen there is too much to say. So I'm behind, and once your behind, playing catch up takes twice the effort than just keeping up. After we traveled to Hong Kong the we went to a sumo match which was a lot of fun.
Me & (Soon to be) 3
Me and (Soon to be) 3. What Lies Behind Us And What Lies Before Us Are Small Matters Compared To What Lies Within Us. Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Pregnancy Follow-Up on Baby #2. So as long as he stays that way I will most likely not have to have a C-section (unless of course there are other complications). I'm so relieved. At my follow up appointment at 37 weeks I hadn't dilated anymore, but am now 80% effaced. The baby is also further down, which hopefully ensures he won't be doing flips anymore! I waited...

If you think you can, or you can't, you're right. -Henry Ford. In January Nancy and I were lucky enough to sneak away on a little girls trip to Jupiter Island, Florida. We stayed with Auntie Bobbi and Dick on the Jambor (Dick's boat). We had the most fabulous time! And Dick treated us all like princesses making us cappuccinos in the morning and cooking up delicious fresh caught lobster and pompaneu for dinner. Yum! We also spent some time on the ocean on a friends fishing boat. Then we went to visit Gran...
