Ian and Louise go to New Zealand! Tuesday, March 20, 2007. Fox Glacier, S. Island. After a long, long journey, we finally arrived in the small village of Fox Glacier, home to the, you guesed it, famous Fox Glacier. After several hours of looking we failed in our attempts to find the mints of the same name so I'm guessing the names just a coincidence! Despite the fact that we were both gutted, we thought we would attempt to walk as close as we could to the face of the glacier.

Yesterday I decided that it was time to get a haircut and had the misfortune of having to brave a philipino barber. Unfortunately he didn't quite understand what I wanted. Ian and Louise go to Japan. Saturday, October 21, 2006. Well its nearly 4am and we're just about to leave for Manilla in the Philippines. In case you're wondering what the title means, it's just a little Japanese we've picked up! So after nearly a week here, this place is still just as weird as when we arrived, if not more so! From sleeping in what was like a capsule hotel, to going into 11 storey shopping malls with worlds within worlds it's just completely crazy! We've added some pics of that too.

After our four hour, 'Super-VIP', 2 pounds fifty bus journey from Kuala Lumpur we made it to the Island of Pangkor on the West coast of Malaysia.
