Saturday, May 19, 2007. Sophie and Laure do the Thelma and Louise. Billed as their "last chance to see the world before they have kids", Sophie and Laure hit Route 66 (amongst others) in their rental car. They journeyed from San Francisco to Austin in the space of 3 weeks taking in the sites along the way. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Xmas would not be Xmas. Without TONS of food, sweets, chocolates and more food (and champagne). (And wine). :). This year's xmas dessert is the chestnut white log: Buche aux Marrons. Delicious and sweet :). Cooks without wine (=outrage! To die for king prawn soup with homemade shrimp broth! Wonderful pear/rutabaga/rosemary puree with cream spinach and a tenderloin in berry/champagne vinegar sauce. YUM-MY! What a great apron! It's great to see women wearing aprons again!
