On April 17, 2010 · Leave a Comment. So over the past few weeks the PNW has been getting pounded with snow. Being as though I was already in Bend , Or, myself and Scotty Nikkel headed up to get some late season pow. I met up with Ian Coble at. Stevens Pass to shoot some photos. We headed up and found 2 feet of fresh snow. Not bad for April. ESPN The day could not have been better, skiing two feet of snow at Stevens Pass, shooting with one of the best, and getting a shot on ESPN. Check out the shot.

This trip was made possible by POW (Protect Our Winters). And the Ultima Thule Lodge. Flew from Seattle to Anchorage. Rented a car and drove 5 hours to just outside of Chitina. From there Paul, the main man at ultimo Thule Lodge flew us another hour into the lodge. Words fail to bring justice to this trip. Here are some pics. Ask for Kyle Watson.
