Across Eastleigh: October 2007
http://acrosseastleigh.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Political, Conservative, Local and national events. Development issues, the Environment and Family life. Saturday, 6 October 2007. Andrew Sheridan drove the England front row forward to victory today. Gordon Brown led the Labour retreat from calling an election today. What an incredible day it has been! For a guy who was 10 points up in some polls one week ago to call off the election after polls in the marginals suggest a 6 point swing to Conservatives is some humiliation! When will he bottle it next?

Laquo; Chomsky – hegemony debate. AS Media – Student Guide. May 1, 2009. Attempting to create a brand identity with the blog is a much more complex process than I first thought. It seems I am uncertain about who my audience is – my students or myself. I did consider adding ‘the world’ but the notion of acknowledging that one is on public display (in a manner of speaking) to a potential audience of billions, is rather embarrassing. The naming process is a semantic minefield. Will it be relevant? The lingu...

Political, Conservative, Local and national events. Development issues, the Environment and Family life. Wednesday, 30 January 2008. An article about: Central Eastleigh. Eastleigh's rat and people problems. What is to be done about this? These areas are reminiscent of the squalour of London's streets in early Victorian times (not that I was around then, you. Understand). They clearly pose an enormous health risk. We feel that they ought to be brought to the attention of the Eastleigh public. Conservative...
