Adventures in Queer Parenting. Friday, February 5, 2010. 2010 has to get better.right? January 2010 was not been the best month for the Doren family! Quinn had an ear infection with her first course of antibiotics, I had scarlet fever, and Taylor is a medical mystery and has had random and unexplained swelling with 4 trips to the emergency room and countless trips to the doctor but here are the things that are making February a better month:. I hope it is a great month for all. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

She really does enjoy music and gets lots of chances to dance both at home and at school. Tuesday, March 16, 2010. Additionally, Quinn took her first two steps last Friday, though we think that she didn't realize she did so. she did realize that her parents are a little weird and enthusiastic though! Adventures in Queer Parenting: November 2010
http://adventuresinqueerparenting.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Adventures in Queer Parenting. Saturday, November 20, 2010. Apparently working full time jobs, teaching a class, and having a toddler is time consuming. Quinn is doing great- she talks in five word sentences now ("mama, sit down right there! Can identify things ("silly mama, here bra"- while I am getting dressed), has developed a voice (which means she runs shrieking through the house), and has a clear sense of self ("Who are you? http://adventuresinqueerparenting.blogspot.com/2012/02/birthday-fun.html
Adventures in Queer Parenting. Thursday, February 9, 2012. No excuses- -just life! The gender stuff is always of interest to us and now that Q wants to spend her entire school day in a princess dress it comes up a little more. She told us only girls can wear princess dresses, but when asked, told me I was boy in a skirt. Good times! Such fun you are having! February 13, 2012 at 1:10 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Adventures in Queer Parenting. Monday, July 19, 2010. My Time with Quinn .or, The Adventures of an Unemployed Aunt. While I’m sad to be leaving, I’m incredibly glad to know that technology exists that allows me to see and speak with her on at least a weekly basis. Still, I very much anticipate my next visit and can’t wait to see the next batch of changes. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Megan and Taylor- -Portland, OR. The Road to Baby. Adventures in Queer Parenting: September 2011
http://adventuresinqueerparenting.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Adventures in Queer Parenting. Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Long time no blog! We are doing well and continuing to grow and learn as a family. Quinn is amazing, challenging, and frequently quirky and crazy. She moved to a new classroom this fall at her fabulous school. Apparently Q is like her Mommy and has trouble with transitions- it has been a little heartbreaking to go back to crying drop offs but I think she is starting to adjust. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). How ya doin' today, Zaza's tummy? After she told us she had an owie and we asked how she was doing:. When she gets upset:. Keen (how she says Quinn) takes a break and breathes" (we have taught her some relaxation breathing). The picture on this post is Quinn and her cousin. She really enjoys holding hands and hugging friends.
