Saturday, 25 October 2014. Did a skull for something cool! Messing around with my pencil brushes. Been getting back into art for the last month, should really be posting the stuff I did, maybe next time. Also I might be moving over to tumblr for my new art stuffs, just like all the cool kids, right? That looks so amazing! Really love the pencil feel to it. What brush did you use? Sunday, 14 October 2012. Some real pencil doodles, and a fake pencil doodle. Compiled a little sketch page in-between programming, not done a sketch page like this for maybe 3 years! I've lost a fair bit of line control in the gap. Sadly I still hate scanning and all the mess, back to digital for me! Screwed around in photoshop a little too, seeing if I can make a pencil imitation brush. I'd say it's not.awful, might look better if it was coloured in the same fashion as a sketch, perhaps! Did a little rendition of Mistral from MGR:R, she had such great potential as a character, shame you only get to interact with her very briefly before you slice her up into cyborg sashimi. Thursday, 15 November 2012. Been exploring some robot designs for Odonata. Just did up one of the doodles that I liked. Used the pencil brush I made, looks pretty when used for an actual drawing, might be a bit on the grainy side though. Radical. I really like the bits that stick out on his shoulders and upper legs. one thing I am wondering about the head though is if he has some sort of camera to see through or eye light? Something of that sort, or is it just the antenna I see on his head? Rob Laro, UK.
