A journal of my semester abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico. Thursday, March 19, 2009. Puerto Vallarta #2 Day 2. For our second day, we spent a lot of time in the pool and wandering the town. We went out for dinner and then dropped the kids off at the hotel so we could go clubbing. We danced for quite a long time and then Walter and I smoked our $13 Cubans on the beach until 5 am. It was a three hour benefit concert for children undergoing medical care here in Mexico and was held at the Auditorio Telmex, a two year old concert hall in Guadalajara. . All of the foreign students studying abroad set up booths about their home cities and countries, provided food, and taught games to the Mexican students that stopped by.
