RAF North Killingholme had a history dating back well before World War 2, as the site was originally used during the previous war until 1919, by forces ranging from the Royal Flying Corps through to the United States Navy Flying Service. The Lancaster visible in the screenshots is from the now unavailable Shockwave Productions (now A2A Simulations) "Wings of Power" box set for FS9. The Piper Cub is a repaint by an unknown author of the Wings of Silver Accu-Sim J-3 by A2A Simulations. None at this time.

Posted on 16 September 2014. I'd like to publicly post my thanks to those who have responded to my earlier request for help and have donated towards my obtaining further airfield design resources. The response has been better than I hoped and, along with finding a (significantly) cheaper source for second hand Action Stations books, I have now been able to order not one, but three!

Posted on 04 January 2010. RAF Fowlmere as represented here is one of the many WW2 airfields allocated to the USAAF in the East Midlands and East Anglia. That, however, is only part of the story of flying at this location. The 339th remained at the station for the remainder of the war, flying many missions over the European continent and becoming one of the most recognised ground-attack squadrons in theatre. Posted on 07 March 2010. RAF Debden was an inter-war airfield that served as a fighter station from the beginning of World War II to the end, acting as a Sector Station during the Battle of Britain and being passed to the USAAF in 1944 following a refit. The latest (version 1.1) version of this file contains fixes to make it work with Orbx's FTX England scenery. The ICAO code has changed (to X2DB from S356) and the old version will need to be removed before using this one.
