Monday, March 31, 2014. Big Bend National Park. This past weekend I took a 3 day weekend and went on my first hiking trip! It was actually a lot more fun than I was expecting (being my first hiking trip and all). Plus, there were 12 of us- which made it exciting :). We got in on Friday and hiked the Window Trail, then had dinner at the lodge. The next morning we got up, had breakfast - then hiked the Lost Mine Trail. We hung out at the top for a while before our decent back down. Looking out the "Window".

Friday, March 27, 2015. A few months back I drove through Sweetwater. It was a beautiful day, the sky was absolutely amazing. so it was nice to snap some photos of the endless windmills the city has to generate wind power. It's pretty wild to see all of them.
