This was a book of two halves for me. But then in the second half of the book their lives begin to overlap through a new arrival in the form of a Kakuro Ozu and from that moment on the book seemed to come alive. A beautiful story of hope, trust, love and friendship that left me crying simultaneously for joy and sadness. On my bedside table.
