Marketing of Note: April 2007
http://marketingofnote.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
It doesn't take much to be a marketer. Thursday, April 26, 2007. The author at Get It In Writing has a nice list of the Top 10 Worst Tag Lines Ever. They are pretty amazingly bad (except for the Sofa King ad, which amuses me). The one that I most enjoyed, however, was the Playstation ad campaign: "U R Not E ". I know how I am supposed to read that (Get It In Writing told me), but I can't help but to read it without inserting the "red" part. Which of course gives us:. You are naughty.". Old Ian Tries Again.

It doesn't take much to be a marketer. Sunday, March 25, 2007. Recently I flew United cross country, and I was more or less forcibly exposed to some of their marketing, by way of the TV's in the plane. Of course, I wasn't listening to the TV, so I could only imagine what they were talking about. However, one of their ads I found particularly amusing. That might convince me to fly with them again, but nothing else will. Posted by Ian at 3/25/2007 12:49:00 PM. Sunday, March 11, 2007. The second group is th...

It doesn't take much to be a marketer. Monday, February 5, 2007. Classic Fast Food Marketing. Here is a classic marketing campaign from a fast food chain, found on the carry-out bags:. FEED YOUR INNER CHAMPION. You are a * champion. You eat to win. You grab life by the horns and food by the bun. Big bites, mighty swigs, and eating face-first are just a few moves in your MVP playbook. We salute you, champ. And every bite you take. Go on, eat like a champion. I have an idea! Why don't I use my mouth!

Ian Tries Again: June 2007
http://iantriesagain.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Where I Try Again. Thursday, June 07, 2007. All now address me as "Master Fischer". That is all. *should. Posted by Ian at 6/07/2007 03:22:00 PM. Wednesday, June 06, 2007. About Vidoop attracted a comment from a gentleman by the name of George who appears to work for Vidoop. Not having a good way of replying to him directly, I thought I would publish another brief post in reply. Obviously it fails to defeat that attack outright, but "resist" seems apt. Where I Try Again. Sunday, March 11, 2007. Well, it's been awhile since I've posted anything on any of my blogs, so I think I should go ahead and say something about my life at this point. Where I Try Again. Tuesday, May 08, 2007. Two Months, Metric. Sunday marked my second month living in California, and things here are still great. My roommates are good people (although my room sucks), my job is interesting and exciting, the weather is almost always perfect, and I am surrounded by natural beauty. I'll be posting some examples of the beauty of the Bay Area on my photo blog. Posted by Ian at 5/08/2007 10:34:00 PM. I miss you, too. :-(. San Francisco, California, United States.
