Tuesday, January 29, 2008. During GP lesson, just as it ended, my teacher pulled at the ohp screen to send it recoiling back. The class clock wasn't hanging as per normal on the wall, but was balancing on top of the white board. So, when she let go of the screen, it whipped back up to its place. Thank God my teacher had immediately walked towards some student in the front row at the right who was asking a question. Hence, she wasn't hit by the falling clock, nor hurt by the broken glass. TNT had our firs...

Friday, February 29, 2008. Last day of the month. The only reason why I'm posting is because today's the 29th of February! Considering it's a date that occurs once in 4 years, I think it's ok. Yesterday was our guest performance for TKGS choir. I wasn't able to go with everyone else at 4pm because I had H3, but I did say goodbye to them when they were at the bookshop. And then, even more surprisingly, everyone said that that was better than the rehearsal, and then I suppose the rehearsal must have been t...

Sunday, November 30, 2008. This is a belated post on our long awaited seniors farewell for choir, which occurred on Friday. Surprisingly, what I wore was slightly more formal than others. Of course, if you're like Jing An and can't read the font on the card, (he thought the word "formal" was "journal") then it can't be helped. Eunice and Wen Song were the MCs, with Kenneth manning the laptop and typing in random things on the screen for us to see, such as "applause". The altos item was excellent! The guy...

Friday, August 22, 2008. Let's Talk More Olympics. I forgot to post about something. Remember I was studying with Sheryl on Thursday right? SHE GOT MICHAEL PHELPS' AUTOGRAPH! Apparently she went to her club, where they were swimming (I didn't even KNOW that they were in Singapore), and asked for Ryan Lochte's signature. Then he asked her whether she wanted Michael Phelps' signature, and she went, "Oh, ok.". WHAT ON EARTH. If I had the chance I'd take a photo of him! WHY am I never so fortunate? And I fou...

Wednesday, July 30, 2008. How has your week been? I realise I haven't blogged in a long while. I suppose every time it occurs to me, I feel guilty about not doing something more productive, so I shove the thought away. Firstly, my family had a photoshoot on 19 July, if I haven't already said so. My sisters have posted some of the shots that we took. The general consensus is a dissatisfaction with the formal one, and satisfaction of the informal ones. Total no. of free periods: 6. Having 10 periods on Mon...

Saturday, June 28, 2008. Term 3 Week 1 - Over. Well, I've managed to survive the first week of school this term, and even gone twice for CIP! I also had lunch on Friday with Eugenia, LC, Ann, YJ and JA. I think we ought to make this a weekly affair. So that even though we don't go for choir anymore we can still have lunch together at the end of each week! There were A LOT of people at the dinner, since Mr Ong's the LCEC chairman (? I'm too sleepy to type anymore. May your light shine. And I retrieved my ...

Wednesday, December 31, 2008. The End of 2008. It's that time of the year, the end, actually. At this point I guess people normally review how the year has been, things you're happy about, things you regret, things you know you don't want to forget, etc. Regarding choir, we went to Italy this year, and it was the last lap of being in the NJChoir after three and a half years. Going to Italy was undoubtedly enjoyable and meaningful, a lot of unexpected things happened, we faced disappointments, but at ...

Wednesday, October 29, 2008. I went to school today (like I have for the past few weeks) to get some studying done, plus I had GP consultation along with Kim. I didn't know Mrs J came from a family of teachers! Must really run in the blood. At the end, she said something like, "So next Monday, please do well.". The moment she said "next Monday", I immediately felt a wave of panic! It's genuinely hard to believe that the all important A levels are so close. To which she said, "maybe they're packing? It al...
