Thursday, April 2, 2009. April 3, 2009 at 8:50 AM. I think that I tend to overlook things being ADA accesible here, because our Athletic Director is in a wheelchair. Sometimes he has to go around the building to the accesible door, or take the ramp outside up to the first floor (because the command building doesn't have an elevator), but in general this entire base is on a hill. There are ramps everywhere because having that many stairs would just be a hassle. April 3, 2009 at 7:44 PM.

Monday, May 4, 2009. The last day of my internship was April 22 and it was really bittersweet! I walked in on my final day to find my desk decorated with streamers and little signs saying things like "We'll miss you! Here is a picture I took. I kept the streamers up while I worked that morning and just sat in the middle of my own little party! I was only working a half day so my boss and my co-workers took me out to lunch, where they presented me with a card and Target gift card! View my complete profile.

Monday, April 27, 2009. The past week and a half has been really hectic, both personally and professionally. The week of April 14-20 is always crazy for me because in that short period of time is my boyfriend's birthday, my birthday and our anniversary- throw is wrapping up an internship and career searching and one gets exhausted pretty quickly. Saturday, January 24, 2009. Not only am I excited to be graduating in May, but I am so really grateful to be spending the next few months interning in the Special Events Department at the City of Glendale learning from a team of 4 fabulous event planners. My first week was a whirlwind adventure, I began 1/12 and my first event, the Glitter and Glow Block Party was that Saturday, 1/17! Blogging is a completely new concept for me, so I am going to go ahead and write about that event for my first post.
