I Beat Cancer Now What. Thursday, June 23, 2011. Spending Time in the Hospital Waiting Room. If you have had cancer, or know anyone who has, you have probably spent your fair share of time waiting in hospital rooms. My husband and I actually have a bag waiting for whenever we have to go. In the bag we put my kindle reader, one of his magazines, two protein bars, and a pad of paper and pen. During chemotherapy we also carried a deck of cards to keep me occupied. Posted by Sheri Ann.
