Wednesday, December 14, 2011. NOBEL PRIZE IN CHEMISTRY. Today I'm going to write about Osamu Shimomura, a Japanesse Scientist who had recieved a nobel prize in chemistry on 2008. He won the prize with other scientist, and they discover a green fluorescent protein. In 1962, Shimomura worked in the Department of Biology at Princeton for Professor Johnson to study Jellyfish. There, they find the green fluorescent protein, and that was the reason of the Nobel price that he recieved in 2008.
