Rum and Brown Sugar Marinated Steak - Nicole'sTable
http://nicolestable.com/rum-brown-sugar-marinated-steak
Talking About Food…. Rum and Brown Sugar Marinated Steak. You can use practically any cut of steak for this recipe. My favorite cut is the New York strip (aka shell, top loin or strip steak), but I chose a flank steak here to demonstrate another option. The flank steak can be put in a large Ziplock bag and marinated in the fridge for a longer period. Just remember to bring the steak back to room temperature before grilling. 1/2 Cup soy sauce. 1/3 Cup dark rum. 1/3 Cup packed brown sugar. 2 Lb flank steak.

Chicken and Pawpaw Salad - Nicole'sTable

Talking About Food…. Chicken and Pawpaw Salad. We often have a lot of pawpaw (aka “papaya”) in our yard so I’ve been doing a variety of things with it such as mixing it with hot sauce or putting it into my salads… thus this recipe for your enjoyment. The nice thing about this salad is that it is very good for you as well as tasty. Some people say that pawpaw is better when chilled. For those of that belief, just chill the pawpaw before you serve it. 3 Tablespoons lime juice. 1 Teaspoon soy sauce. Conch F...

Our Home | Nicole’s Table, Antigua
http://nicolestable.com/our-home
Talking About Food…. We bought our home in 2006 largely because we loved the wonderful view. We extended the roof, verandah, and a few other things that can drive you crazy building a house. Our view is quite stunning showing St. Johns’ harbor and “McKinnon’s” pond… a body of water that glows under the waning glare of the setting sun as it sinks into Caribbean Sea. However, given that we are now in a drought, very little is growing. We await the rain…. We moved to Antigua in 2005 so that our two girls co...
