All items at the Salvage Barn are donated or salvaged from homes slated for demolition. All donations are tax-deductible. We accept items that are 50 years and older. Items newer than 50 years old. We're also on the lookout for more tools to add to our Tool Library. Drop off donations during our regular business hours:. Wednesday - Saturday 9-5. Iowa City's first Tool Library will have a Grand Reopening March 5 and 6 with a greatly expanded tool library! Come check it out! The Tool Library has a number of great tools to offer, including a pneumatic floor nailer, router, sanders, heat paint removers, shop vac, air compressor, drills, as well as more common hand tools.
