Happy Birthday | I see myself
https://theyear2020.wordpress.com/2009/03/07/happy-birthday
Destined for great things. Where is the compassion? Bonus Tax →. March 7, 2009. Today marks a year since I started my blog theyear2020! I’ve published 43 posts, slightly less than my 1 per week goal. There hasn’t been a theme as I’ve written about just about anything that’s on my mind. For the new year however I will attempt to inject a unifying theme to my posts. Emphasis on attempt. The top posts over that period, strangely enough, include. The Appeal of Green Beer. Things that remind me of my childhood.

Destined for great things. Newer posts →. The Pen is Mightier than the sword. January 29, 2009. A very old saying but one that rings true as we follow President Obama’s first few days in office. He has used the mighty pen to reverse several policies of previous administrations and also to authorize many new, some say long overdue, initiatives. Here’s a collection of his recent ones:. 1 The Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. This bill strengthens the equal pay for equal work rights. Presidential appointees mus...

Bonus Tax | I see myself

Destined for great things. More on the Bonus Tax →. March 20, 2009. Its been my limited experience that politicians don’t know how to mix the business of making money with the business of running the government. But today the US government owns 80% of AIG. I never gave any credance to the talk of socialism, communism, fascism or any other isms that pop up when some right wingers talked about our new President. But I must admit that I’m beginning to wonder. But is this taxing of the bonuses a good idea?

I’m back | I see myself
https://theyear2020.wordpress.com/2010/03/10/im-back
Destined for great things. More on the Bonus Tax. March 10, 2010. Its been 2 years since my blog has been active and almost a year since my last post. Not sure what direction to take the blog in this year but we’ll see how it goes. I need to remain motivated and have less writing blocks. I believe if I continue to write what’s important to me or what interests me, I shouldn’t run out of things to write about. And I so much want to write. So wish me luck and keep checking back for more.

http://stephanies-ramblings.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2008. I know, i know. i have so dropped the ball with my blogging. but i am ready to get started again. Sometimes i don't feel like i have anything to say - not enough going on in my life to write about. i could write about jesse every day because he does amazing things all the time. but i want this to be about me too. so it is hard to figure out what to write about. Tuesday, September 2, 2008. Sometimes it just hits me. It seems that a lot of times when i am feeling down, overwhel...

Stephanie's Ramblings: June 2008
http://stephanies-ramblings.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 30, 2008. I was reading some devotions i did in 2003. here is one that really hit home with me. Lamentations 3:19-24, 31. The thought of my suffering and homelessness is bitter beyond words. i will never forget this awful time, as i grieve over my loss. yet i still dare to hope when i remember this: the unfailing love of the Lord never ends! Lord, help me go THRU the tough times in life WITH You. Sunday, June 29, 2008. What is your worth? Saturday, June 28, 2008. Things i am thankful for.

Stephanie's Ramblings: happy mother's day!
http://stephanies-ramblings.blogspot.com/2009/05/happy-mothers-day.html
Sunday, May 10, 2009. This is my second mother's day as a mom. there were times in my life i thought i would never get to be a mom and so mother's day is extra special. Mother's days in the past could be a really hard day. i loved the day because i got to celebrate my mom - who is the best mom in the world. but it was also an incredibly painful day - seeing all the other moms celebrating their children and motherhood. To look at my son and know God gave him to us. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
