Pages Turning Day In Day Out. Thursday, March 14, 2013. I finished off the Lord John books by Diana Gabaldon with. Lord John and the Hand of Devils, The Custom of the Army and The Scottish Prisoner. The Hand of Devils is a trilogy of short stories. The Custom of the Army is a novella and the Scottish Prisoner is a novel. These books are pure entertainment and if you haven't read any of the Outlander or Lord John books, I would read them in their proper order. The proper order is as follows:. Again, I con...

Pages Turning Day In Day Out: September 2013
http://brookelmt.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Pages Turning Day In Day Out. Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Already Gone by John Rector. This is a crime thriller. On page two our protagonist gets his finger cut off with bolt cutters. If you can't handle that, don't read this book. Where'd You Go, Bernadette? Where'd You Go, Bernadette: A Novel by Maria Semple. I really enjoyed this book but the main character, Bernadette, is as quirky as it gets. Mother of Winter by Barbara Hambly (The Darwath Series). This book takes place 5 years after the Darwath ...

Pages Turning Day In Day Out. Thursday, November 8, 2012. Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling. This is Rowling's first book written for adults. Pages Turning Day In Day Out: April 2014
http://brookelmt.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Pages Turning Day In Day Out. Saturday, April 5, 2014. The Silence of Trees. The Silence of Trees by Valya Dudycz Lupescu. This is the tale of a woman who loses herself and then finds herself again. This was an endearing story of a woman who one day realizes that the life she has lived isn't quite the life she had hoped for. The questions is "is it a life enough and can there be more? The 100 Year Old Man Who Crawled Out a Window and Disappeared. This was an entertaining book. I highly recommend it.

Pages Turning Day In Day Out. Sunday, February 15, 2015. The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt. This is a Pulitzer Prize winner. That doesn't always mean that it will be a book I think was worth reading. His life is full of upheaval and tragedy and really bad choices by him and the adults in his life. It is the story of a boy and a painting called The Goldfinch. April 24, 2015 at 8:22 PM.
