Sun, Apr. 20th, 2008, 12:46 am. Comic Con is AWESOME. So was Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. I am not quite ready to give a full rundown of the first day, but I do have a few major things to share. I came away with about 6 complete books (one of them signed in front of me by Peter David! One of the posters is for you! Guillermo del Toro has a potty mouth. He's also hilarious. And the creatures in Hellboy 2 are even stranger than the ones in Pan's Labyrinth. Yes Ron Perlman's chin really is that big.

Yeah, I lol'd. Sesame Street's Monsterpiece Theater: "Twin Beaks" skit. Sesame Street always kept their writing smart for the grownups watching along with the kids- I never appreciated it until I got older. The Log Bird wins this one so hard. Darn fine story, darn fine actor.
