Why do I keep taking the Red Eye? Every time I take the Sunday night red eye back from Salt Lake I spend Monday at my desk lamenting what a bad decision it was! And the head/stomach/everything-aches always lead me to promising myself that I won't book another red eye - yet for some reason I keep doing it! New York, NY.

Lizzie in the City. Wednesday, August 13, 2008. Why they have credit card machines in cabs. It's all about Big Brother. Apparently Bloomberg is tracking my cabby and his friends - trying to gain control! An interesting application from one of my favorite high school reads. And the thing my driver was most concerned about was that "they" know who we are all associating with - which made me start wondering/worrying who he's been associating with for it to cause such concern. The Favorite Frenchie. I know he is dressed in Mexican clothes.but it was Mexican night in the Junkanoo! My favorite Frenchie dressed as a tiger. Dancing in the Disco. Wednesday, September 24, 2008. I had so much fun in Washington this summer. It was so good to see the whole family and to be back in the country! 160;Here are some of the highlights. Gardening with my cute nephew Brycen. Going to the beach. Going to the fair. Monday, September 8, 2008. My cute niece Melanie and nephew Jared met me at the airport. We tested our new snorkeling gear. Hung out at the Pallin Cottage. Visited a mushroom farm. We went to the beach. And finally, played lots of rock band!

Monday, February 23, 2009. You know that saying. 160;That's right.cowboys, bulls, and all the rodeo riffraff was going to be a mere 30 blocks away at Madison Square Garden. Growing up I remember the rodeo events at the Northwest Washington Fair and mingling with the local chapters of 4-H and FFA. My roots are in all things country. I was excited.
