Travels in Iceland and France. The pigeon strikes back. Return to Oz →. The Arc de Triomphe was one spot I’d never observed closely. So I decided to visit the top this time. The view is, of course, not as high as the Eiffel Tower, but I think that’s its advantage – you can see. Building in the Marais. Dog waiting patiently on Rue des Francs Bourgeois. This dog was not quite so patient…. Luxembourg Gardens and the Senate. Building is gorgeous and worth a visit in its own right. Looking across the Seine.

Travels in Iceland and France. Just like Dorothy, the time came to return to Oz. It’s now been two days since I walked back into the unmistakeable tropical air of Brisbane.
