The nature of poems | Kalina Savoy
https://kalinasavoy.com/2015/03/25/the-nature-of-poems
The nature of poems. March 25, 2015. A day or two. For a poem to. Do not attach importance to yourself that. This is not the case. A poem gives birth to itself. Like a single cell organism. It doesn not need you. Or your vanity or. Your desire to feel valuable. A poem needs you only. To witness its emergence and. And then let it free. Or dig deep and. Wait for it alone to crack its. Shell and erupt in your face. A poem decorates itself. And needs you only to look at itself. A poem develops itself. You ar...

February 10, 2015. My epiphany visited me as. The hours percolated through my fingers. Look at us, the apathetic scouts,. Never counting our beers. And collecting our memories. Day after day,. Falling asleep, rotting, then regenerating. So simple that it hurts. And in the morning the pillow always smells of. Yesterday I woke up. The sky looked like skin scratched with math compass. Thin lines drawn onto the airy blueness. I wondered did it hurt. My mouth was lonely. Scientists say loneliness is equivalent.
Crash | Kalina Savoy
https://kalinasavoy.com/2015/03/09/crash
March 9, 2015. March 9, 2015. Not that I suffer. But I feel a lack of the right words often. Others’, not mine. And I stand in a dusty room plunged into a semi-sleeping darkness. And laughingly read what my fingers gave birth to. Then stop for a moment,. And as if I sense a shadow of an embrace. To put myself to sleep with the words I own. And still it is a comfort. Although a pale one. Although I let it fly before my eyes. And quickly catch it back again. And why to justify myself. And often I am both.
It’s the last day of war | Kalina Savoy

It’s the last day of war. February 20, 2015. It’s the last day of war. And we do not matter. And we fall asleep so not to cry. And drink to forget. In the throes of. Sinking into the soil of our lives as. The last frost of the. The war is over. Silence fell on us. For what was lost. And for what was coming. We grieved for the ending,. Afraid to begin again. We hid inside our bodies. Like in a shell. Growing and dying before our eyes. We fell asleep hoping. To wake up somewhere else. Or in another time.

April 30, 2016. The old habits return. As rats in a cellar. At 3:33 AM you wonder (perhaps). Where did the whole growing up thing go? You’re back on the road well known. And all the interventions,. All the new games you play. All the new roles down your pocket. Dissipate in the midnight air. You’re back to what you used to be, a year, maybe more, ago. The tobacco smell, the dirty floor, the tired eyes. The thoughts, the questions,. Your pale body staring at the dark houses. Like shoes with flapping soles.

February 10, 2015. In the haze of the night. My body still belongs to me. And a rush of power. I throw my clothes on the floor. And lie in bed. In the evening air outside. Soaring above the rooftops. Sending messages to God. In its timelessness is. Enter the silence and. The days will go by. And we all will see them. In the funfair of. If there is somebody awake. I need a job. Bad habbit →. 2 thoughts on “ Luna. February 10, 2015 at 2:14 am. Lunar fury, this is a hot poem! February 10, 2015 at 2:19 am.

These are premium fleeces of adult Icelandic Sheep (and when noted Lambs). I skirted these fleeces and picked out some straw. A few of the sheep got hay seed in their neck area - and I left that area because it was often nice wool, in case you wanted/needed it enough to work the hayseed out. The fleeces colors and weights are noted. The price is $40/each for most of the fleeces (lamb fleece is the same price, but more per ounce because they are much smaller in total weight) .
