Þingvellir and Young Tourist Couples Go Mighty Fine Together. The viewing deck by the Information Center at Þingvellir. A young tourist couple shared the viewing platform overlooking Þingvellir. With us during a sunny break in spastic weather we've been having over this Easter holiday. This shot is taken from the western, North American Continental Plate side, looking east out over Þingvallavatn lake to the Eurasian Plate on the other side of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge.
